Change Starts Here JenThere is no such thing as a single, perfect way to eat…

After studying 100+ dietary theories, practicing many of them. I have come to the opinion that it needs to be a sustainable lifestyle choice.

Food has become an area of conflict and confusion…

There is a lot more to food than just the chemicals that makes up the protein, fat, vitamins and minerals. Our relationship with food teaches us about how we live or think about life.  Endless weight loss dramas, eating disorders, cravings, addictions, body image obsessions and never-ending searches for “the best” nutritional system.

There is a lot more to food than just the chemicals that makes up the protein, fat, vitamins and minerals. Food has become an area of conflict and confusion – endless weight loss dramas, eating disorders, cravings, addictions, body image obsessions and never-ending searches for “the best” nutritional system.

I have incorporated a Mind-Body Approach to Nutrition, eating and living consciously.

Because of the healing I have experienced. I am passionate about sharing with others the healing power of Real Food and a Nourishing life.

I have called this approach a Nutritarian Lifestyle?

Simply put, a Nutritarian is a person whose food and life style choices are influenced by nourishing qualities.

Nourishment comes from more than just the food we eat.

Jen’s Nutitarian approach also focuses on elements that nourish us other than food. I believe in Cultivating Nourishment for the mind, body, and spirit, including honest and open relationships, a career that inspires that you are passionate about, a meaningful spiritual practice, physical activity that are enjoyable and also the products we use every day in our environment. We refer to these elements as Primary Food and address each one of them as we go through the program, so that your life can be truly transformed.

Our relationship with food teaches us about how we live or think about life.

What I want is for you to recognize that when something doesn’t serve you, you do have the power to change it.

I am a firm believer that food is meant to give us pleasure and nourish us. Yet somehow along the way, so many of us have learned to misuse and even abuse it.

Remember that a healthy body weight is an outcome of a healthy relationship with food.

How is your relationship with Food?

I love this quote of Nadine Burke, MD:

“When I focused on just nourishing my body, everything else became so much easier; food choices became easier, exercising became easier. It was really just about taking care of myself and treating my self sweet.”
